The international controversy over Iran’s nuclear program in the past several years has generated a plethora of websites and weblogs , run by various policy circles and research groups or individuals both in the governmental and non-governmental sectors in the West, which promote particular policy agendas with regard to U.S. foreign policy towards Iran. Oftentimes, the characterizations and representations of Iran’s foreign policy as well as its domestic politics advanced by these policy networks are prejudiced by their particular policy agendas and/or their lack of knowledge of the inner workings of Iran’s political and bureaucratic system as well as the political culture of post-revolutionary Iran. This weblog aims to take a small step toward redressing this gap by providing independent analysis of Iran’s major foreign policy developments.
